2014 Vinyl Industry Health, Safety & Environment Awards: The VI announced the recipients of VI’s annual top safety and environmental awards, given to companies in the vinyl (polyvinyl chloride or PVC) industry for improving worker safety and protecting the environment at plant sites throughout North America. Awards were announced for performance during the 2013 calendar year.
Stevens Institute of Technology’s SURE HOUSE 2015 U.S. DOE Solar Decathlon Entry: The VI is sponsoring the Stevens Institute of Technology in the 2015 U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon. The Steven’s team of students have designed a sustainable, resilient, storm-proof home for the competition called the SURE HOUSE.
